Hello! My name is Christina Neeley! I was born on Christmas Day in a small Kansas town, but I have lived in Texas most of my life. I am the youngest of 7 children; I have two sisters and four brothers. My family is so important to me – I love spending time with them as much as I can. I currently live in North Texas with my husband on an acre lot where our two dogs like to play, Ella and Sparkie! Who knew a pit bull and a chihuahua would be the perfect duo?!
Michael and I got married in Mexico, September of 2018. We both like to travel and like to stay active. Our favorite places to travel so far are Spain and Costa Rica. I stay active by going to the gym and an occasional HIIT or yoga class on the weekend. I like listening to podcasts or read about personal development and mindset. I have always had an interest for health and fitness and understanding what works best for my body and lifestyle. I like to cook at home and trying new recipes, mostly because the first nearby restaurant is a 30 minute commute. While Michael isn’t full on Keto, he definitely eats up everything I make! I cook at home during the week, but we still make time for brunch or dinner with friends – we definitely found a happy middle!

When I finally decided to try Keto January 2019, it quickly became my lifestyle. I started out with an accountability partner for 31 days, which made consistency easier than doing it solo. We intentionally decided to have a cheat meal after 31 days, and was not a fan. That’s how I knew Keto was the right lifestyle for me. I don’t feel constricted because there are so many options where I can eat some form of my favorite foods (like Keto lasagna or tacos). I have more energy, clearer skin, have lost inches, and ultimately increased my self confidence. I feel in control with food and in tune with my body.

While my journey isn’t  perfect, I am constantly learning how to improve and share with you all! I aim to have a balanced healthy lifestyle without jeopardizing a social life. Because it is possible to have the best of both worlds 🙂
